My photography work is generally of a photojournalistic point of view, dealing with themes of Nature and mankind’s effect on the environment, political-social issues, and current events in and around Southern Arizona. In some cases I allow my biases and political alignments to freely show through in my work, other times I do my best to photograph from an entirely different point of view, as I do not think common sense knows any particular political, religious or social dogma. We/I can only grow by trying to see the world as other’s see it, hence in most finished assemblages, I try to simply present the facts and let the viewer come to his or her own conclusions. My intent is to provoke discussion, as the more these subjects are discussed, the more solutions can be found.
